Prince has been confirmed as the latest headline act for Roskilde Festival this July.
The pint-sized pop hero's rare slot at the festival will be his first performance in Denmark for over eight years.
Roskilde music director Rikke Øxner said: “I’ve had to pinch myself many times since last night when everything fell into place.
“Getting Prince to Roskilde Festival has been on our wish list for years. He’s not a frequent guest at festivals, so it's a great honour for us.
“It's wonderful finally to be able to tell this great news to our audience.”
Other acts confirmed for Roskilde this summer include Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, Muse, The Prodigy, Them Crooked Vultures, Alice In Chains and Kasabian.
Roskilde Festival takes place from July 1st to the 4th, 2010. Tickets are on sale now.
