Denmark’s biggest and longest festival is back for the 36th time. Roskilde Festival goes on for a wonderful 8 days and is a non- profitable organisation that donates all proceeds to humanitarian projects.
The warm up for the festival lasts for a leisurely 4 days, with all night partying and campsite events. For the remaining 4 days, music is the main focus, but there will be everything to do between performances from poetry slam dunk to wall climbing.
2005 saw new music coming together from all over the world to play in one of the most diverse festivals of the summer. Established bands such as the legendary Foo’s played alongside artists such as Mory Kanté and Ska Cubano, with music also from the rest of Scandinavia.
