Gigwise Begins Search For Band To Play Snowbombing Festival

Gigwise’s search for a band to play this year’s Snowbombing festival in Austria has begun today (January 3).

The event takes place in Mayrhofen from April 4-9, and is set to feature performances from The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and Pendulum.

And for the third year running, Gigwise has teamed up with Snowbombing to find an unsigned act to join them on the bill.

From today, bands are able to submit an MP3 demo to Gigwise’s special King Of The Mountain competition page.

In February, the public will get the chance to vote on the top twenty bands, before the most popular four are given the chance to do battle in Austria.

One band will then be selected from our four finalists to go on and support one of the major acts during the event. They'll also win 2000 euros.
