The Cribs continue to lay the yellow brick road to their new album with 'I Don't Know Who I Am', a new single starring former Sonic Youth Lee Ranaldo, who last appeared on 2007 Cribs track 'Be Safe'.

Five minutes of noise rock jamming track a video with plenty of filmic Kitchen Sink tropes. A storm of noise, including Ranaldo on guitar, act as a foil to falsetto vocals that yearn and wonder.

"We had initially requested that he play noise guitar over the track, because we wanted to keep it somewhat abstract and create the impression of the melodies just kind of emerging out of the static...but he went beyond the call of duty and also added some beautiful vocal harmonies too" the band said of their collaboration with Ranaldo.

The Cribs announced their new album Night Network with surprise single 'Running Into You' in August. Recorded during summer last year at the Foo Fighters' Studio 606 in L.A., this is to be the band's eight studio album.
