Arlo Parks continues to prove she deserves every second of the success she's been garnering over the past year as she releases another awe-inspiring single - 'Hurt'.

An echoing breakbeat loops alongside stylish guitar licks and a driving bassline as Parks again focuses on the subject of mental health. "Just know it won't hurt so much forever" she sings on a tear-jerking, addictive chorus.

The accompanying video is equally healing: a slick depiction of Parks delivering her lines in earnest and a dancer moving from his depressed spot on the floor to engage in beautiful movement.

"'Hurt' surrounds the possibility of healing from pain and the temporary nature of suffering. It is supposed to uplift and comfort those going through hard times," Parks says of the track.

It follows the recent cut 'Black Dog', which confronted the pain of seeing a loved one in a depressive episode. Parks also covered Radiohead's 'Creep' this summer.
