Daft Punk made a surprise appearance alongside Phoenix at a gig in New York last night (October 20).
The French duo appeared at the back of the stage for the band’s encore at Madison Square Garden.
The two acts performed Daft Punk’s ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’, which also included an exert of ‘Around The World’.
The set finished with the two French acts performing Phoenix’s ‘1901’ together, reports Billboard.
Daft Punk’s appearance comes ahead of the release of their soundtrack to the forthcoming Hollywood movie, Tron: Legacy.
And the gig also coincided with this year’s CMJ festival in the city. For more details, check out the Gigwise Festival Guide.
