Britney Spears will make a cameo appearance in an upcoming episode of Glee, it's been announced.
The singer will appear in an episode of the hit US TV show dedicated to her musical career.
"Britney, I think 100%, is going to be on the episode," Glee creator Ryan Murphy said during an appearance on US radio.
"She is going to come and do a couple of scenes."
Spears music will be used in a scene where characters in the show visit a dentist and go under anaesthetic.
The announcement comes in the same week that George Michael and the late Michael Jackson's music were linked to the show.
Glee, which tells the story of a fictional high school glee club, has already dedicated episodes to Lady Gaga and Madonna.
And the upcoming second series will also feature Coldplay, Sir Paul McCartney and Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle.
