Liam Gallagher has claimed that if John Lennon was still alive he would cover one of his Oasis songs.
Speaking on his website, Gallagher appeared to suggest the former Beatle would be a fan of his material rather than brother Noel's songs.
Asked by a fan what song Lennon would most likely cover, Gallagher replied: “I reckon 'I'm Outta Time' because it's the bollocks.”
The song, written by Liam, featured on 2008's 'Dig Out Your Soul', which was Oasis's last album before their split last year.
The singer is currently preparing to release his debut album with new band Beady Eye.
