The View have been working with producer Youth on their third album, guitarist Kieren Webster has revealed.
Webster said the producer, who has worked with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Primal Scream, has helped the record sound “big”.
"Every producer is going to have a different sound and he came up with some good ideas,” the guitarist added. “We worked hard on it."
Speaking in more detail about the as-yet-untitled album's sound, Webster told the Daily Record fans should expect strings and keyboards.
“It has elements of the first and second albums in it,” he said. “It has funky guitar and pop led tunes on it and a couple of things you wouldn't expect."
The band's third album and follow-up to 2009's 'Which Bitch?' is expected later this year.
