Rage Against The machine have asked Susan Boyle to join them on stage at their Rage Factor gig in London this summer.
The gig, in Finsbury Park, will celebrate the band's successful Christmas number one bid last year, which prevented X Factor's Joe McElderry from achieving the feat.
Frontman Zac De La Rocha said the group wanted Boyle to perform their chart-topper 'Killing In The Name' with them as a peace offering to Simon Cowell, who signed both artists.
"I really hope there are no hard feelings with Simon,” the singer told The Sun.
"He seemed to think that it was a bullying campaign but the truth is the British people wanted a change.”
De La Rocha added: "We love Susan Boyle, she is hot. To show there are no hard feelings we would like her to perform with us on stage this summer.
"She is a great vocalist and we would love to perform 'Killing In The Name' with her.
“Everybody knows her in the US and she can add her vocals to anything. It would be an honour for us."
'Killing In The Name' outsold McElderry's 'The Climb' following an extensive fan campaign on Facebook.
Some 40,000 tickets for the gig on June 6 were allocated via a ballot in February.
The US band will also use their visit to the UK to headline the Download Festival in Donnington.

How diplomatic! I hope she agrees, that'll be something for the history books.

- I think the April 1st button has been pushed a little early..

Sadly it's not an April Fools' story!
- pffft! I think it was The Sun who broke this - A great work of fiction I'd assume
