Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and Reverend and the Makers' Jon McClure are curating a free festival in Sheffield.
Tramlines will run from July 24-27 at venues across the city.
The current line up includes Little Boots, The Panics and Pixie Lott. It is unclear as to whether Helders or McClure's respective acts will appear.
But the drummer told BBC 6Music: "There's more going on than a lot of people think.
“Things that will happen at Tramlines will be things that people wouldn't necessarily get an opportunity to see anywhere else, or any other time.
"Because it's free and all that, there isn't really a big enough reason not to check some of these things out."
Arctic Monkeys are currently putting the finishing touches to their as-yet-untitled third album.
