Friday January 30, 2009 - The Big Day Out festival hits the Adelaide Showgrounds. Taking place in the midst of an almost unprecedented heat wave, fans were forced to endure scorching temperatures. Gigwise photojournalist Tom Gilhespy braved the elements to capture Arctic Monkeys, Aussie natives Cut Copy, Neil Young and The Prodigy in live action. Click through to see the bands in action...
