Eminem has revealed that he is set to release not one but two new albums in 2009.
The returning rapper is set to make his comeback record 'Relapse' a double header with the first LP being released on May 17 and the second, entitled 'Relapse 2', set to drop before the end of the year.
Announcing the news, Eminem said: "A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year. I was one of them.
“Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months.
"We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre."
As previously reported on Gigwise the recording of Eminem's two new records has meant that 50 Cent has had to delay his own new album while he waits for producer Dr Dre to become available.
