Michael Jackson's Website Bombarded By 16,000 Hits A Second

Michael Jackson's website is struggling to cope with the huge amounts of people trying to sign up for tickets to his comeback shows.

The site, michaeljacksonlive.com, is being bombarded by traffic as fans seek to find information about the pre-sale which is due to take place next Wednesday (March 11).

Many fans are complaining that they are simply unable to enter their details into the registration form or that they are not receiving a confirmation email once they have done.

A spokesperson for AEG Live told the Telegraph: "The site is receiving 16,000 requests per second, so demand is extremely high, phenomenal is an understatement."

Tickets for the 10 date residency at the O2 Arena in London go on general sale on March 13 but many fans do not want to wait that long in the race to get their hands on the prized tickets.

Fans can also register to buy tickets via the pre-sale by texting 'MJ' to 81707.
