Eighties pop megastar Rick Astley has been nominated against U2, Britney Spears and Green Day at this years MTV Europe Music Awards.
Astley, whose 1987 hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up' topped the charts in 16 countries, faces some of music's biggest stars in the Best Act Ever category.
Christina Aguilera and Tokio Hotel are also nominated for the award, which will voted for online.
Astley was thrust back into spotlight earlier this year when a new “Rickrolling” craze to the internet storm.
The craze unwittingly led people to follow links to Astley's pop videos.
The MTV EMAs will take place in Liverpool next month. You can see all the acts up for awards by clicking HERE.
