Since receiving a nomination in the Best Act Ever category at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards, Rick Astley is now rumored to be performing at the ceremony as well.
According to Best Act Ever, a reliable source has revealed that the 80’s pop sensation is set to be performing not one but two songs at the Awards show being held on November 6 in Liverpool.
“This surprise nomination truly demonstrates that the MTV Europe Music Awards is the most democratically selected awards show there is,” stated Richard Godfrey, senior vice president, music and production and executive producer for the EMA’s earlier this month.
Fans can vote for Astley or any of the other nominees at the official MTV EMA website.
