Simple Minds Original Line-Up To Reunite

For first time in 27 years...

The original members of Simple Minds will work together for the first time in 27 years when they enter a recording studio next month.

The week-long reformation will see Brian McGee, Derek Forbes, Mick McNeil, Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill work on at least two new tracks- the first for the line-up since 1981’s ‘Sons of Fascination’/’Sister Feelings Call’ dual release.

“Of course I am excited with the prospect of working with the original line-up once more,” said frontman Kerr, “I had always believed that the day would come when we would get the opportunity to do so.

"We have a lot to live up to, but we intend to have some fun attempting to do just that."

  • i will be blown this is fantsic news that simle minds could ever had whisd to it is wonderful that this 80s band shoud playing the hits that made shuch a good music the whin has ever on my mind i have seen them in this county and it was a smash to hear sound it makes which thay stay but the band had to go original lin up givs hope and much to yean hear them agian and hope that they will vist austria agan soon it will be grat time to hear the old and new sounds a i would like hear them and so go
