Sam Duckworth, more commonly known as Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, returns with ‘Find The Time’, the first single from his new album, ‘Searching for the Hows and Whys’. It’s a nice, safe single – the music is enjoyable and Duckworth’s singing is charming and warm, as ever. Starting as you may expect with acoustic based motifs, the track progresses into a fuller affair with strings and trumpets joining the fray. The moniker may have been chosen to avoid comparisons to the many other acoustic singer/songwriters that are around today – but musically there’s not really much that makes this stand out. Existing fans of Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly will be pleased with this offering, albeit without being particularly surprised.
