Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drumming genius Dave Grohl turns the grand age of 45 today. Happy Birthday, Dave! To celebrate, here are 16 reasons why he's awesome and why he's known as the nicest man in rock.
When he's not filling stadiums and entertaining millions, you'll probably find him dressing up, making friends with rock giants, helping the needy, kicking arse, standing up for equality, generally going out of his way to be brilliant, goofing off or just grinning inanely.
