- Emeli Sande: The Scottish singer beat The Beatles' record for most consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 chart for a debut album. Her record Our Version Of Events spent 63 weeks in the UK Official Album Chart, beating the Beatles' record of 62 weeks with Please Please Me.

Emeli Sande made headlines this weekend by smashing a chart record that the Beatles have held for fifty years - not too shabby. But she's not the only one.
Considering that they haven't been around for decades, it's surprising just how many chart records the Beatles still manage to hold. The four Liverpool boys have been making milestones since the '60s, and they're not easy for new artists to beat.
