The 10 coolest bands and artists of Latitude 2013

Bloc Party, Alt-J and Foals are a given - but what about the smaller and must-see bands?

  • Iamamiwhoami: Sweden has a long and rich heritage of brilliant pop music, and YouTube sensation Iamamiwhoami is one of the most recent additions to the country's musical heritage. Performing her only UK festival show, expect a bonkers stage show to match her surreal synth sounds.

Latitude festival has stepped into the big league in 2013, announcing a truly brilliant line-up that will see the Suffolk event play with the big boys on the UK festival scene.

Mixing some huge names from the UK scene (Foals, Bloc Party, Alt-J) with big-hitters from across the globe (Kraftwerk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and some of the coolest new bands on the planet (Purity Ring, Jagwar Ma), we're more than excited about getting down to Suffolk for a weekend in July.

The festival has always prided itself in its family atmosphere, but this year the event seems ready to play with the big boys and attract a much cooler crowd to its stunning setting in Henham Park, Southwold.

So, if you're planning on doing Latitude this year, we've picked the ten coolest artists on the launch line-up. Basically, if you miss any of this lot, you might as well not even go...
