Adele is looking forward to using her upcoming 'down time' between albums to try and pass her driving test.

The singer has never had time before to learn to drive, but wants to be able to drive around with her son Angelo - so is aiming to pass her driving test this year, before she goes back to LA.

A source told The Sun, "She’s never taken a test because of her busy schedule over the past few years. Now she’s back in the country she wants to use her downtime to finally pass her test."

The source continued, "She may have various awards to her name but all she wants is her driving test certificate. There will be no sports cars though – she is eyeing up a more family-friendly car so she can carry the whole clan."

Adele isn't the only singer not to bother learning to drive - apparently, neither Robbie Williams or Noel Gallagher have got around to passing their tests.

Still, it's not like she hasn't already had a busy 2013. So far this year, Adele has already won an Oscar for Best Original Song, a BRIT award for Best Single and a Grammy for Best Solo Performance.

She's also reportedly considering fronting a beauty campaign from Estee Lauder or L'Oreal. The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer is apparently worth £25million, but is tempted by the £10million on offer if she agrees to endorse the companies.

A source told the paper, "Adele is in big demand. She would only accept if the campaigns were to her taste and incorporate her music.

"The last thing she wants is a cheesy ad with a naff catchphrase. They would have to be in keeping with her personality. It’s going to take a lot of persuasion to get her to agree but, right now, it looks as if she’s close to signing a deal."
