Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran definitely not dating

Pair 'work well together' but nothing more

  • Chris Brown & Rihanna vs Popular Opinion - The recently reunited couple of Chris Brown and Rihanna, which no one thinks is a good idea, wasted no time in displaying their affection, sitting together and holding hands.

As much as we might all be eager to know just who Taylor Swift’s next man is going to be, it definitely isn’t Ed Sheeran.

As much as the two might appear to be romantically involved with each other, working together and hanging out in each other’s hotel rooms, apparently they are just friends who work really well together.

The pair recently collaborated on Swift’s RED album, and Sheeran was seen leaving her hotel room in the early hours last month.

But speaking with New Zealand broadcaster TVNZ Sheeran was quick to dismiss the the rumours.

“I did stay there ‘til four and I did leave in the same clothes,” he admitted.

“But I was playing her my new record. It was strictly that kind of thing, literally, I went in there and we passed the guitar back and forth and played songs to each other.” Sheeran insists.

The ginger troubadour also said he was shocked at how easily people believed the press, and that he had to convince his friends that he wasn’t romantically attached to the US star.

“The thing that impressed me with the media is that because they wrote about it, my mates believed it. And my mates are texting me being like, ‘Is it true?’

Swift series of high-profile relationships have seen her labelled a man-eater

“So I said it wasn’t but the fact that people can believe it makes me feel like a bit of a stud, you know?”

So while we’re likely to see more musical collaborations from the pair, we’re not likely to see them on a date any time soon.
