Tributes have already started pouring in from actors and musicians for the Manchester-born frontman of the American band, which had hits with 'Daydream Believer' and 'I'm A Believer' among countless others.
Jonny Marr, Kasabian and Davy Jones' former band members all pay tribute to the self-titled 'Manchester Cowboy'. Micky Dolenz, drummer for The Monkeys, told Piers Morgan that Davy Jones was “like a brother, while Will Smith tweeted a simple 'R.I.P Davy Jones'.
