Blur will take to the stage at next week's BRIT Awards to receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award. 
The band will collect the gong during the ceremony at the O2 Arena on February 21.
Speaking about the award, Damon Albarn has said "recognition for all the  work and all the heartache that has gone into this band."
Previous winners of the award include Oasis, Paul McCartney, The Who, U2 and Queen.
