Bill Bailey has covered Metallica's 'Sandman' ahead of their appearances at this weekend's Sonisphere festival.
The British comedian is due to go up again the metal giants at Knebworth on Friday (July 8).
In the video, he alludes the clash and jokes that his band are ready to step in if Metallica are forced to pull out of the festival.
“Hello, I'm Bill Bailey and I'm here with the band rehearsing for Sonisphere,” he says. And just to let you know, if Metallica can't make it for some reason, if Lars [Ulrich, the band's drummer] isn't there, we're ready.”
Metallica will headline the opening night of Sonisphere as part of The Big Four. For more information about the festival, check out the Gigwise Festival Guide.
