BBC Radio 1 Announces Hackney Weekend 2012 In London - BBC Radio 1 is set to stage a free live music event, Hackney Weekend, in London next year. The two-day event will take place on Hackney Marshes on June 23-24 and will form part of the London 2012 Festival. Leona Lewis and Plan B are the first acts confirmed to perform.
