Justin Bieber Fan In Hospital After 'Beatlemania' Scenes In Liverpool

Justin Bieber fans prompted police to close a road in Liverpool yesterday (March 10) as they tried to catch a glimpse of the star.

During scenes being compared to Beatlemania, fans teenage fans swarmed around the entrance to the Hard Day's Night Hotel and started chanting his name.

One girl was taken to hospital after falling in the crowd, reports BBC News.

Bieber was eventually allowed to come to his balcony window and acknowledge his fans. He later played a gig at the Echo Arena.

A police spokesperson said: "Merseyside Police has at no time threatened to arrest Justin Bieber or members of his management team."
