A Justin Bieber fan has used her brief role has her town's mayor to name a street after the singer.
Caroline Gonzalez, 11, was named Major for the Day in Forney, Texas on Tuesday (August 16).
And she used her first act to temporarily rename part of a street after the 17-year-old teen sensation.
She said: "I just really like Justin Bieber, and I thought it'd be cool if we had a street in our town named after him.”
ABC reports that local officials tried to invite Bieber to the ceremony but were unsuccessful.
Bieber is not the first music star to have a street named after them. U2 had a New York street named U2 Way in 2009.
