Adele has topped the UK album chart for a sixth consecutive week, denying Jessie J and Beady Eye debuts at the top.
The London singer’s second album ‘21’ has now sold over 1 million copies. No other album in chart history has reached a million sales so quickly in the first three months of a year.
Jessie J’s debut album ‘Who You Are’ went straight in at number two, selling over 105,000 copies.
Beady Eye, the band formed by Liam Gallagher following Oasis' split in 2009, saw their debut ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ chart at number three.
Clare Maguire’s debut album ‘Light After Dark’ was a new entry at number seven, according to the Official Charts Company.
Meanwhile, in the singles countdown, Adele remained at number one with ‘Someone Like You’.
Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’ featuring B.o.B and Rihanna’s ‘S&M’ were both non-movers at number two and three respectively.
