When the promo video to Madonna's 'Like A Prayer' was released in 1989 it caused an immediate outrage. It depicts burning crosses, Madonna developing stigmata and most controversially the singer fornicating with a statue of Saint Martín de Porres come to life, who some people claim to be a black Jesus. The Vatican and other Christian groups slammed it, but this has only helped to raise the video's profile and entrench it in pop history.

If you're going to spout BS, at least have a cohesive argument. Dudes, he was nearly 70. His time was not short.
- The WBC are the true Satan Worshipers. No other kind could be so evil and hateful. I suspect that they also sacrifice animals and babies in their ceremonies to their Satan.
Their protests are a cover to try hiding who they really are.
- This is the funeral of a metal god. Some people are looking to get their @#$ kicked if they protest that funeral.
