The Who - Striking a balance between new and old is a tough balancing act for the Glastonbury organisers. Go too current and you risk alienating the older fans but if you put someone's Grandad on stage just because he had a few hits in the seventies, well the kids will run to the nearest exit. That's why any temptation to book The Who to perform should be avoided like hippy in a hat with bells on it. Nobody needs to see a band with an average age of a dinosaur headline a music festival in my humble opinion.

- i disagree with all of them! apart from the police, kasabian and the killers.

- Kasabian would be the best headline act of this pony festival. You are talking total garb.

- Kasabian would be a 'disaster'? Are you kidding me?! It's about time a band like Kasabian shook this aging festival up a bit!!

- At this point, I think I'd see the Libs anywhere I could, even under less than ideal circumstances like a festival.

- a bit pathetic, gigwise.
