To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the release of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s debut, self-titled album, the band will be heading out on a special tour across North America.
In addition to reissuing the LP on June 2, along with 12 new cassette tape recordings from frontman Alec Ounsworth, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will be playing the debut release in full each night of the tour, as well as other favorites from their catalogue.
Currently, CYHSY are on a “Living Room Show” tour, which consists of acoustic shows, with no stage or sound system, and are limited to 40-50 attendees. They are currently looking for more hosts to donate their living rooms for shows in April.
The anniversary tour will kick off on May 27th in Philadelphia and close at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on August 1.
