FKA Twigs has revealed she has been receiving racist abuse on Twitter, since it was revealed she has started dating actor Robert Pattinson.
Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) is nominated for the Mercury Music Prize for her debut LP1, has been dating the actor since the start of September. She tweeted last night:
I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week.

It appears that Twigs is receiving abuse not only from fans of Robert Pattinson but also of his ex Kristen Stewart.
FKA Twigs album LP1 was probably the most-tipped favourite to be up for this year's Mercury Music Prize. "It feels like an honour to be amongst a group of people who also care about the music, the writing and the production, and every single aspect that goes into making a record and being the best artist that you can be individually," FKA Twigs told Gigwise at the announcement of the shortlist.
She continued: "I know who I am and I know what I do and it's not really genre-specific. All I can do is do me."
