Lorde has revealed that she will be the support act at Arcade Fire's gig at London's Earls Court this weekend. Which is alright, as support acts go.

The New Zealand star will join Owen Pallett and DJ sets from 2 Many DJs and Pulp's Steve Mackey at the Canadian band's huge London gig on Saturday 7 June, and announced her appearance on Twitter as she discussed her upcoming live shows. See below.

Lorde will perform two live shows in London this week, one at Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday, 5 June 2014 and the second at Brixton Academy on Friday 6 June.

Arcade Fire are in the UK ahead of their Friday night headline slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival. They will also headline a Barclaycard Summer Time show in Hyde Park on 3 July 2014. Tickets for these shows are available now. For more information, visit Gigwise Tickets.
