'Firework' star discusses Carey, Spears and Cyrus

Katy Perry has slammed Mariah Carey in a new interview, claiming she was 'fabulous...for a throwback'. Check out the full interview below. 

The 'Firework' star was appearaing on Australian TV show 'Sunrise' when she took over as main guest for the morning, when hosts and fans quizzed her on Carey, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus. 

When asked about Mariah Carey, Perry replied: "She's fabulous for a throwback. Fabulous! We love 'Fantasy'. I mean 'Honey', I love 'Honey' - I listened to all of those songs growing up."

A fan later asked her whether she preferred Britney Spears' Vegas residency or Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour, when she said: "Well, if I actually give you an answer to that one, I'll have an onslaught of people on Twitter hitting me up with what they think - but, since I stay true to myself, I think that they were two different shows. Britney is at a different period in her life than Miley. This is Miley's first big tour. I think Britney is making a comeback and I thinking Miley is making her first come...for."

She continued: "Miley was amazing. She was different,which is what sets her apart." 

When asked about her infamous kiss with Cyrus at one of her shows, Perry replied: "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know, that tongue is so infamous."
