Will.i.am has repeated Cheryl Cole's claim that she did not mime during her performance on The Voice last weekend.
Cheryl appeared on the show to perform her new single 'Call My Name', putting in a high energy performance that began with a swan dive into the arms of her backing dancers.
However, many fans complained that Cheryl was miming her vocals throughout and that it undermimed the point of a show like The Voice.
Defending his friend, Will.i.am said: "I was there. She wasn't miming," Adding: "I didn't know she was jumping on stage until she did. I thought it was dope."
Cheryl previously stated herself that she was not miming during The Voice performance.
