Beyonce and Steven Tyler to star in 'Epic' film

Beyonce, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Pitball have been cast in a new animated film from 20th Century Fox, called ‘Epic’.

The computer generated movie is said to tell the story of a teenage girl, transported into another universe, with Beyonce playing Queen Tara accompanied by other actors playing a role, including Josh Hutcherson, Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried and Johnny Knoxville.

Beyonce is currently working on other cinematic projects, which include Clint Eastwood’s revival of ‘A Star Is Born’. The singer will be working alongside actor Tom Cruise, who will be playing the lead in the new version.

The 3D film 'Epic' will be directed by Chris Wedge, who directed Ice Age and is said to hit the big screens next year.
