The Horrors have revealed that they're planning to start work on their fourth album later this year, hopeful that they can release something sooner rather than later.
The London band released their third album, 'Skying', in 2011 and have a UK tour and packed festival season ahead of them this summer. However, as soon as those commitments are out of the way they plan to step into the studio and start work on their next opus.
Speaking to NME, drummer Josh Hayward said: "In the autumn we're going to write a new record, we'll go back into our studio and record it and hopefully get it out as soon as we can. We haven't started it yet because we all write together, but we've all got a few ideas."
He also revealed a dislike for playing arena shows, despite having just finished a similar style tour with Florence + The Machine.
"When we tour we like to go out into the town and have a look around and actually enjoy our time there rather than just sitting around and waiting. I can see why people who do arena tours all the time end up going mental because you've just got nothing to do," he said.
