Gotye has hit out at TV show Glee for what he thinks is a substandard cover of his hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know' which was performed on the show recently.
Befitting its status as one of the biggest singles of the year, the cast of Glee jumped on 'Somebody...' and it was sung by star Darren Criss on the April 10th episode of the hit Fox show.
Speaking about his problems with the cover, Gotye told the Sunday Mail how; "They did such a faithful arrangement of the instruments but the vocals were that pop Glee style, ultra dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense, like it's playing to you from a cardboard box,"
Adding: "It made it sound dinky and wrong."
