So with no Glastonbury this summer…BOO! It is left up to the other festivals up and down the country to fly the flag, and they don’t come much bigger than the Reading & Leeds Weekend.
There is no other festival that needs a strong line-up this year than the Reading & Leeds weekends. The two town festival has suffered its fair share of ups and downs in recent times, with last year being the first in recent memory that tickets did not sell our immediately, and slowly dwindling crowds.
With bands like The Stone Roses & The Happy Mondays returning, and recent releases from Arctic Monkeys & Foo Fighters, the Festival Republic show-piece has its chance to prove that it is up there with the best again.
Gigwise has surfed through the rumour mills and unofficial websites to find the strongest rumoured line-up’s for this year’s festival.
So get voting, rate or slate and leave your comments on who you want to appear at this year’s Reading & Leeds.
