Ed Sheeran, Jessie J Dominate BRIT Awards 2012 Nominations

Jessie J has picked up the most nominations ahead of this year’s BRIT Awards with three

The singer is in the running for all the major awards, including Best Female, Best Breakthrough & Best single for Price Tag, reports the BBC.

Ed Sheeran is also reportedly nominated for four awards. Gigwise will be coming live from the event, check back for full nominees later.

The full list of nominations will be revealed at the BRIT Awards launch party at The Savoy in London tonight (January 12), the nominations launch will be hosted by Greg James.

Performances on the night will include Ed Sheeran, and this year's Critics' Choice winner Emeli Sande. Jessie J, who was last year's Critics' Choice winner, will also be in attendance to present Emeli with her award.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Blur have confirmed that they will be performing at the BRIT Awards this year.

The band will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award at the Brit Awards next month

The band will collect the gong during the ceremony at the O2 Arena on February 21.

Speaking about the award, Damon Albarn has said "recognition for all the work and all the heartache that has gone into this band."
