The original members of Velvet Revolver have announced that they will reunite for a one-off show in LA next week.
The band's full line-up Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, Dave Kushner and singer Scott Weiland will reunite for a benefit show at the House Of Blues next Thursady (January 12)
Velvet Revolver, consisting of three former Axel Rose bandmates, have been without a singer ever since Scott Weiland quit the band in 2008.
The benefit show is in aid of the late musician John O'Brien, who was found dead in his Chicago hotel room last year.
Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, Sheryl Crow, Maroon 5 will also perform at the concert.
Speaking about the show, Kushner told Rolling Stone: That [having other acts on the bill] will take the pressure off all of the bands, including Velvet. Because we hadn’t played with Scott in a long time I said, 'Look, let's just do three songs'. So we just got a bunch of people. Everyone will do three songs.
Meanwhile, Velvet Revolver recently said how that they had recorded material with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor before deciding to scrap it all together.
