Adele, Nicki Minaj Dominate American Music Awards 2011

Adele dominated at this year's American Music Awards in Los Angeles last night (November 20).

The London singer joined the likes of Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry at the ceremony.

Adele, who was absent from the awards, took home Favourite Female in Rock/Pop, Favourite Album for her 2011 LP ‘21’ and Favourite Artist in Adult Contemporary.

Rihanna’s ‘Loud’ was named Favourite Album in Soul/Rhythm/Blues while Beyonce beat off competition to pick up ‘Favourite Female Artist.

Foo Fighters won Favourite Rock Artist.

Performances of the night came from Nicki Minaj and David Gueatta, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars.
