Tulisa Contostavlos has said Cheryl Cole will not return as a judge on The X Factor.
The N-Dubz star, who replaced the Girls Aloud singer, said she had been assured her place on the judging panel.
"I can 100 per cent reassure fans I'll be sitting in that judge's chair in the final,” Contostavlos said.
“Cheryl and I talk and laugh at the rumours about her. We've sat down and had the conversation at her birthday party.
"People are going to make up rumour after rumour. It's been intense."
Contostavlos described her relationship with Cole as “cool” and said she hoped the X Factor had shown people that she is “not some chav who swears and beats people up”.
The X Factor reaches the judges’ houses stage tonight (October 1).
