Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears has revealed the he is 'desperate' to work with Queens Of The Stone Age on their next album.
''It'd be a dream collaboration, because I’m a huge fan. I really, really want to sing on the next QOTSA album. I'm desperate for it,'' Shears told the Daily Star.
He added: ''And he's [Homme] a fan of our band too, as unlikely as that might be. I think he's a genius, a genuine rock hero living among us."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Queens Of The Stone Age revealed that their new album will be completed by the end of the year.
Frontman Josh Homme said that the band will be heading back into the studio to finish the album after their appearance at this year's Glastonbury festival.
