Ben Folds has revealed that he may reform with his old band Ben Folds Five to record a new album.
In a recent interview with Spinner, Folds hinted that he would start with work with former bandmates Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee on new material.
The band released their last album 'The Unauthorized Biography Of Reinhold Messner' in 1999 but have recently recorded three new tracks for Folds' forthcoming compilation 'The Best Imitation Of Myself: A Retrospective'.
Speaking about reforming, Folds said: ''We did three things that we could do quickly for the record, and there were all these other ideas that I was bringing in that were really more radical. So I think in December we'll probably get together to do that as long as I have enough material when I come back in.''
Earlier this year, Ben Folds played a sold-out show at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
