Lil' Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' is set to smash the sales figures achieved by Jay-Z and Kanye West's new album 'Watch The Throne'.
Wayne's ninth studio album – and the non-sequential follow-up to 'Tha Carter III' – is on course to sell between 700,000 and 850,000 copies in its opening week.
In comparison, 'Watch The Throne', which was released earlier this month, sold 436,000 units.
The projected sales figures would give 'Tha Carter IV' the second-biggest opening sales week of the year, behind 'Born This Way' by Lady Gaga.
Meanwhile, Lil' Wayne has said he doesn't expect to feel any repercussions from a diss track aimed at Jay-Z on the album.
