Cheryl Cole Not Set For Dirty Dancing Remake Or Glee

Cheryl Cole has been confirmed to appear in a re-make Dirty Dancing, he publicist has said.

Earlier this week, it was claimed the Girls Aloud singer and former X Factor judge had signed up to star alongside friend Derek Hough in the Kenny Ortega-choreographed mobie.

But her publicist told BBC Newsbeat that Cole was only confirmed to make a cameo in What To Expect When You're Expecting, which will also feature Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez.

Cole's publicist also denied that the singer was set for a cameo on the US TV show, Glee.

Earlier this year, Cole was sensationally sacked as a judge on the forthcoming US edition of The X Factor amid speculation that American audiences could not understand her accent.
