Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has rubbished suggestions that his brother Caleb Followill has been kicked out of the band.
US tabloid Star magazine claimed this week that Caleb’s cousin Matthew and brother Jared had asked him to leave because of the singer's “diva traits”.
As a result, “the plan is to have Jared and Matthew take over lead vocals”, the magazine added.
But drummer Nathan has denied the claim – and poked fun at the original article.
He wrote on Twitter: “BREAKING NEWS: KOL has kicked Caleb out and Jared & Matt will be taking over lead vocals. Where do people come up with this sh*t? Hilarious.”
Earlier this month, Kings Of Leon scrapped their US tour so Caleb Followill could overcome a voice problem and exhaustion.
It came after the singer walked off stage at a gig in Dallas amid accusations from fans that he appeared drunk.
